Delete your account

Deleting your account removes it, your team, and every monitor, incident and device belonging to it. It cannot be undone, and we do not restore deleted accounts from backups.

If you can still sign in

Delete it yourself, and it happens immediately. In the iOS or Android app it is Settings → Delete account; here it is Settings → Profile. Both ask you to retype your email address to confirm, rather than a password, because an account created with a sign-in link has a password nobody has ever seen.

If you cannot

Ask us here and we will do it for you. We reply to the address you give to confirm it is yours before anything is deleted — the form is public, so a request on its own is a claim rather than proof.

What goes

Your account and profile, your team, every monitor and its whole history, open and closed incidents, escalation policies, registered devices and API tokens, and any subscription record held here.

What stays

Billing and tax records, for as long as tax law requires — typically six to seven years. Keeping those is a legal obligation rather than a choice.

A deleted record can also survive in an encrypted backup for up to 30 days before it ages out. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.

Before you go

If your team has other members, transferring ownership first is usually what you want — deleting the account takes their monitors with it.

A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is cancelled with Apple or Google, not here. Deleting the account does not stop that billing.
